I graduated from Weber State University with my Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design! I aim to create work that is authentic, quirky, nostalgic, genuine, and versatile. Whether I’m working on a brand identity, a poster, or an illustration, I always strive to infuse my designs with a sense of human-touch and playfulness.My time in the design department was very rewarding and I learned so much. A few highlights were my typography class, web design, and being the President Officer of Weber State's AIGA chapter. I loved the sense of community that my team created. I also worked on campus for nearly 4 years in the Center for Community Engaged Learning as their Marketing and Graphic Designer. I felt like I was doing design for a good cause and was part of a team that really made a difference for people on campus.
Now I am out of college and I found a good design job at a sprinkler company. It is by no means as rewarding as CCEL, but at least I make decent money. But since I am out of school I assumed that a full time job would leave me with no free time. On the contrary, I have found myself with more leisure time than ever in my life. This website is a way to feel creative and learn more about code.
I am also hoping to find a community of people that are passionate about neocities like me! I still have a lot to learn, but I can spend hours looking through website after website. I love the creative, indomitable spirit of humanity!
